⏳ Long Running Tasks
If you have animations with large numbers of armature bones being animated in them, then expect long run times on the ArmatureLink module as it will have to re-write them all. TLDR: If its still showing as processing and you can see disk activity, then it is not hung as it may appear to be, just let it run, and come back to it in a few minutes
Actually Hung Tasks
If you ever do have do run into a fully hung task run (most common occurrence cause so far is having multiple DSUs with no modules in them), then is is important that you CLOSE the unity project window.
Do NOT try and exit play mode as doing so risks causing corruptions to your avatar.
Once you have closed the project open it again, you will get this prompt
Click the ‘Close’ option and then reopen the project once more. This will get you back to how things were before the error occurred.
Custom Base Animator Not Working
If your custom base animator set in the Advanced Settings
section, is not loading in as expected,
ensure you have pressed the Create Controller
followed by the Attach created Override to Avatar
buttons under the Advanced Settings
section of your the CVR Avatar Component

It is not recommended to inject a base animator this way as you will have to manually add new features that come with updated CCKs to your controller by hand.
The best way to add in custom layers is via use of a DSU with a FullController Module
Magica Cloth 2 Support script error
I you get a script error related to CVRFuryMagicaCloth2Config.cs
, please use the remove option next to its entry in the Tool Setup window, install magica cloth 2 from the unity store and then click the install option again in the Tool Setup window, this should resolve the issue.
